The licence and registration wording below is separated into original documents, current official registry evidence and facts that still require owner-supplied documentation.

The archived scan is the original permission document. The latest public MLIT safety record available for FY2024 also lists MAKOTO, permission year 1997, Head Office and Hazawa Office.

Japan introduced five-year renewal for charter-bus business permission on April 1, 2017. The original 1997 document is not re-dated when a later regulatory renewal is granted, and the public safety record does not publish MAKOTO's next renewal date.

MLIT FY2024 safety information

  • MAKOTO is listed with Head Office and Hazawa Office. The published permission condition is “medium/small vehicles only.”
  • The Head Office entry reports 12 vehicles, 10 drivers and 0 reportable accidents per 100,000 km. Hazawa reports 3 vehicles, 3 drivers and the same accident rate.

SAFETY BUS recognition

The MLIT FY2024 record shows no SAFETY BUS recognition, and MAKOTO does not appear in the Japan Bus Association's all-certified-operators list dated July 31, 2026. The old English-page wording “Application in Progress / Under Review” is therefore not reused. This site makes no certification or pending-application claim.
